They all provide the look I'm going for, however I feel that their performance hit is quite significant, considering on the realvision page, a 970 is recommended for the full graphics option, yet I dont reach 60 fps with the performance version.Įverything is fine with the gpu, in the sense that it is hitting the correct boost clock of 1270mhz, and the cpu is also running at 4.1ghz. I have tried "Realvision" (the performance option), "Project ENB", and "Natural Lighting and Atmospherics for ENB", and all of them have given me around 40fps, with some dips into the 30s.

This was however not the case, as with the ENB's I have tried so far, none of them give what I would call playable fps (60 fps most of the time). I'm having trouble with the depth of field settings in enbprepass.fx.My goal was to make the tower, the trees and.

I assumed I would have enough headroom for any enb, since only around 30% of the gpus max ability was being used. Skyrim enb depth of field settings confusion. the gou stays around 900mhz at 50% usage, so the fps is always pegged at 60, except for certain places like cities where the cpu core gets maxed and the fps tanks to 20-30.

If you suspect that your Windows 10 settings are incorrect for Skyrim, then check cfs111's guide for recommended settings. So my modded version of the game (only around 40 mods), runs quite well on my 780ti at 1440p. Adjustments required in the Game Anti-Aliasing (MLAA): OFF () High Dynamic Range: ON () Depth of Field (DOF. Thus, I have always disabled DOF from ENBs I have uses and managed that from DYNAVISION instead.ĭYNAVISION - Dynamic Depth of Field by Gopher and MyGoodEye (SweetFX and Reshade) Note: The Filter FXAA was activated in (SweetFX v2.0 and Reshade v3.0.8) with little intensity so that it does not affect the quality of the game environment. Ability to change or disable DOF from that battle can make a huge difference.Īnd even if resources would not be the problem, then ability to set different DOF for screenshots and gameplay is pure gold. When modded with popular mods, it tends to suck out resources out even from very good cards and computer. Most notable one would be the finale battle. It also allows you to disable it, if certain events grow too resource hungry with mods. Now to find something like Imaginator for Oblivion. h files with shaders that allows for DoF, since its a multi-pass code, whilst SweetFX is single-pass. I Googled to find the one I am trying now. At the present state, DoF is not possible with SweetFX without the much-needed internal shader modifications you cant just add. There was nothing in a Sweetfx search on the Oblivion Nexus. I would recommend using DYNVISION instead, because it allows you to determine the amount and form of DOF in game. I found one on Skyrim Nexus that seems to work. However, ENB DOF tends to be resource hungry feature. I will say that K ENB Extreme was running amazingly smooth without the DOF lol. That file could be hard to find if its not on their website. I am hoping that this is not what is causing the issue though. Closest thing was the newest thing 0.279. I could not find that one on the enb website.

One thing that I did notice was that the mod author for K enb recommended the 0.272 enb binary. Im starting to think it has something to do with windows 10, but Im not sure.

Changed code of animated stars, they use alpha channel to detect stars, with new parameters fixing incompatibility with. Fixed game shaders to remove limitation of ldr, i didn't notice earlier that game is forcing ldr. I would like to get the full effects of that enb working at some point. POSTING THE ENBSERIES BINARY FILES ON NEXUS SITES IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. If someone has dealt with this and knows a simple solution for it, I would love to know. Im not sure why the depth of field is not working, and I can live without it. Checked my skyrimprefs.ini settings numerous times, my enbseries.ini, and have been trying to find answers on the internet for hours. I changed out to the K ENB Quality, same effect. Ive been using various enb's for years with no issues. The enb was working, just the depth of field wasnt. I installed K ENB Performance version and had no depth of field. After doing so I reinstalled skyrim and am in the process of getting it all modded up again.
